One Click Tools
3ds Max · Corona & V-Ray

Wood grain aligned on every element,
in one click.

Timber geometry almost never has clean UVs, and every board faces a different way. WoodFlow handles both: one click, and the grain runs correctly along every board, plank and slat, whatever its orientation in the scene. No texture coordinates, no unwrapping.

The grain follows every piece

WoodFlow reads each element and maps it in world space, board by board. Slats run vertical, floorboards run long, end grain on the cuts. Automatically.

One click, no UVs

Select your geometry and hit Remap. Wood lands on raw geometry: no texture coordinates, no unwrapping, no setup. One click reverses everything.

Every board, its own grain

Vertical slats run vertical, floorboards run long, end grain on the cuts. And any single board can be flipped or reseeded on its own.

Never looks tiled

Each board shows a different cut of the plank, and Variation with Reseed rolls fresh looks per object. Walls and floors read like real, varied timber.

Instant in interactive rendering

The native engine keeps IR responsive: wood size, blending and variation update live in your render while you drag the sliders.

Ribbon mode

Wrap a wall or any volume with one seamless band of wood. Writes real UVs on channel 1: exports clean to Unreal and Unity.

Native Corona & V-Ray

Auto-detected, fully native mapping, full render speed, no OSL. Fused import? Explode by element splits it: one grain per board.

One panel, everything on it

Remap, resize, flip, vary, wrap a volume with Ribbon, paste onto other objects, revert. All from one small panel, no menus to dig through.

Not only wood

Anything with a directional grain aligns the same way: board-formed concrete, brushed metal, woven fabric, veined stone. If the pattern has to follow the shape, WoodFlow points it the right way.

Release notes

v1.4.2July 2026LATEST
  • Ribbon mode now reads your textures' real-world size. Veneer, cladding and brick wraps map at the exact scale straight away, in any scene units, with no UVW Xform. A texture with no real-world size falls back to true scene units.
  • Flip map / Flip cap fixed. They flip the direction only, no longer the texture size.
  • 3ds Max 2025 & 2026, Corona & V-Ray. Existing customers: re-download from your library.
Previous versions
v1.4.1July 2026
  • Edit geometry flat. One click lifts the grain alignment so you can edit the mesh on a clean stack, then re-aligns it in one click, re-read on your edited geometry.
  • V-Ray pass refined. Per-board variation and real-world wood size are now exact; any wood texture already in your material is picked up cleanly.
  • Sturdier alignment, always applied to the whole object.
v1.4July 2026
  • Fully native engine, Corona AND V-Ray. Renderer auto-detected, instant interactive rendering; the OSL shader gone from everyday use.
  • Ribbon mode and Explode by element. Per-object variation with Reseed, per-piece Flip map / Flip cap, one shared material.
v1.3July 2026
  • Much faster interactive rendering: big textures (4K/8K) properly mip-mapped, IR loads almost instantly.
  • 3ds Max 2025 compatibility fix. Free 3-day trial, with the days left shown right in the panel.
v1.1July 2026
  • V-Ray support alongside Corona.
v1.0June 2026
  • First release.
