WoodFlow - One Click Tools

👉 New from One Click Tools — Remate, the material remote. Click a face in the viewport and grade any material live in Corona or V-Ray, non-destructively. Discover Remate →WoodFlow: wood grain aligned on every element, in one click.Remap all your wood in one click. Timber geometry almost never has clean UVs, and every board faces a different way. WoodFlow handles both: drop a wood material onto a facade, a slatted ceiling, a parquet floor or a plank table, hit Remap, and the grain runs correctly along every board, plank and slat, whatever its orientation. No texture coordinates, no unwrapping, no fiddling. WoodFlow reads each element and lays the wood down the way a real carpenter would.New in 1.4.1: Edit geometry flat, and a polished V-Ray pass. A new one-click Edit geometry flat button temporarily lifts the grain alignment so you can edit your mesh on a clean, unobstructed stack, then re-aligns the grain in one click, re-reading it on your edited geometry. V-Ray is refined too: per-board variation and real-world wood size are now exact, and any wood texture already sitting in your material is picked up cleanly. The alignment is more robust as well, always applied to the whole object.New in v1.4: fully native engine, in Corona AND V-Ray, built for interactive rendering. The old OSL shader could never keep IR truly responsive, so it is gone: WoodFlow now detects your renderer and builds the mapping from native features. IR starts fast and updates live while you tweak size, flips and variation, and final renders run at full engine speed. Also new: Ribbon mode (wrap a wall or any volume with a seamless band of wood, real UVs, game-engine ready), Explode by element (split fused imports into separate boards, one grain per board, grouped for easy reselection), and one shared material across objects.Made for wood architecture first Cladding and ventilated facades, slatted screens and brise-soleil, timber ceilings and soffits, decking, exposed beams and CLT panels, parquet and stairs. Every plank gets its own grain direction. Same one click for plank furniture: tables, shelves, benches, slatted seats and panels. What it does for you One click. Select your geometry, hit Remap, done. The wood is on, the grain is aligned. Every element gets its own grain. Vertical slats run vertical, floorboards run long, end grain on the cuts, automatically. Never looks tiled. Each board shows a different part of the plank, so a slatted wall or a parquet floor reads like real, varied timber, not a copy-pasted texture. Works at any scale. A single slat or a whole facade. One object or fifty. Live and instant. Wood size, blending and variation are sliders, and the native engine keeps interactive rendering responsive: drag and watch it update live in IR. Keeps your maps. Roughness, normal and bump follow the same grain, and your colours stay true to the source texture (real-world sizes are detected and respected). Fully reversible. One click puts every original map back exactly where it was. Your scene stays clean: the only thing WoodFlow adds to an object is a modifier or two. Every element stays yours to tweak. Select any single board and flip its grain the other way, flip its end cap, or reseed its variation, one piece at a time. Edit anytime. One click lifts the alignment so you can edit the geometry on a clean stack, then re-aligns the grain in one click, re-read on your edited mesh. Fully native in Corona AND V-Ray. Auto-detected. Filtered, mip-mapped textures, full render speed, no OSL. Good to know. WoodFlow works board by board, so it is at its best on wood built from separate boards and slats. When an imported object contains several fused boards, the new Explode by element splits it for you: one object per board, one grain per board. A single lathe-turned leg or a one-piece molded seat is mapped as one solid. WoodFlow 1.4.1 supports 3ds Max 2025 and 2026, with Chaos Corona 12+ or V-Ray 6+ (3ds Max 2027 support is in progress and will be a free update). For archviz artists cladding facades, slatting ceilings and laying floors in wood all day, and done unwrapping every plank by hand.Stop mapping wood.
